Also McDuory WA-2900A Outdoor Amplified HDTV antenna is a good 4bay UHF antenna with added VHF dipole and built in amplifier. Should receive all major Charlotte UHF channels and the VHF dipole should pull in WTVI. Sold on Amazon $49.99. And there is a smaller 2bay version but it is currently much more expensive.
Apartment reception can be challenging as walls may block signals. Try placing antenna in front of window. But if window has an energy enhancer or UV coating then the signal will be blocked. Argon glass blocks reception.
If you want to try an indoor antenna from Walmart the GE 200 amplified rectangular bar antenna works good and is priced $29. Works better than the more expensive $35 version they also sell. Also the RCA 1450 amplified flat panel they sell also performs well.
On my Parents house, I literally moved the antenna an inch, and it made all the difference in the world. Sometimes you have to shift the antenna around, and keep rescanning for channels
yes we did the scanning for the channels our bedroom TV is working fine it's the living room that is having the issue
