Last night a "protest" group decided it was ok to block the flow of traffic on a public street. They were stopping cars and the police did not show up and arrest them or clear the street. WHY? This is clearly illegal. If the police will not do their jobs maybe we need to defund the police department here.

We have a democratic mayor and a democratic governor.

I'm sure the police were told to stand-down with the belief the protests/riots hurt Trump's chance in November.

Your safety is up to you. That's why you need a concealed carry firearm. Everyone becomes polite then.

Was that a rhetorical question? Two things;
Elections have consequences, and people get the government they deserve.
It can be sobering to witness idealism meeting reality.

That's why since all this BS started, I have yet to go uptown Charlotte. Pure ignorance. Hopefully they will realize this by the economic and physical downfall of the city, but will probably be too late by then.

I am going to call the police department and tell them if they will not protect the motorist it leaves me no choice but to be heavily armed when I drive through the city so I can prevent any fools from forcing me to stop . We all need to remember what happened to the truck driver in LA after the Rodney King verdict.

LOL, I'm just imaging the gossip at the police department call center.

"Hey Shirley, this guy called me and said he's gonna drive with a gun now."

"Haha, that's random, as if we care?"

"Yeah, I was like, ok you are allowed to have a gun, so you do you. Nobody's forcing you to do anything."

"He was like, nah you are forcing me!"

"I was like, OK, well I guess I forced you. Anything else I can help you with?"

"No"

"Ok, bye"

If someone jumps out in front of you while driving you either stop or you wait for something to happen....what would you do?
