Read on here where someone said the absentee ballot return envelope tell what party the voter belonged to. That is incorrect. Found below link.

Of course they don't. Only a fool would believe or attempt to propagate such a thing.

i just read that does happen in primaries, but not in general elections.

It probably shouldn't happen in either, but I can vaguely understand primaries where you may only vote if you are of that specific party.

In NC primaries, if you are registered “unaffiliated” you may vote in any primary of your choice. But you can only one in a single primary for that election.

I retired from USPS, with years of knowing how things work there and the incidence of what you suggest is occurring, is total BS! Actual incidents are very rare and any employee caught doing it is fired and faces Federal Jail time. Take your paranoid, "Californicated Trumpophilia" elsewhere.

TheEmissary,

I can understand your taking offense. I really can.

I want to believe that USPS is above interfering in any way, but I don't know. The installation of Louis DeJoy certainly doesn't help.

My wife and I sent off our requests for ballots. We out them in our mail box. The mail carrier picked them up and promptly delivered the requests for ballots to the neighbor's mail box. I don't think that it was a mistake. Next door is the end of the carrier's delivery route for our street. She delivers the mail to the neighbor then gets into the truck and drives off EVERY DAY.

Equally disturbing is that the outdoor mail drop box at the post office in my area has been removed.

Our president has sowed the seeds of distrust, and they've sprouted.

It is worrisome.
