Hi everyone. My family and I will be visiting Charlotte next weekend from Denver, CO and we have a boat rental scheduled from Crown Pontoon Boat rentals on Saturday. Wondering if anyone knows somewhere in the area that rents fishing poles and bait? My 6 year old is absolutely obsessed with fishing. We're staying at the Grand Bohemian uptown, so the closer to that, the better.
Thanks in advance.

A quick tip to Walmart will get him outfitted for the day, for a few $$$.

If nobody offers suggestions of a place, maybe just bring a little decent tackle with you (borrowed or rented from someone locally) - and buy a cheap pole here that you can give away or throw away.

You could also try calling up places that rent kayaks - they may encounter more outdoorsy tourists and know offhand someplace with fishing gear you can rent, versus calling marina-style "family boat size" businesses.

Yeah I thought about that. I may have to go that route

Does anyone know if any of the LKN marinas or boat rental places offer fishing pole rentals? It’s weird but I’ve looked at most if not all of them, and I can’t find one that does.
Thanks
