Smile Myers Law Firm

I highly recommend MYERS LAW FIRM. Either Matthew Myers or Lee Myers.
They have been fantastic for me with my child support case.

They are also good divorce lawyers. Highly recommend.

Can anyone expand on James Warren? My friend is considering him, and wants to know what makes him a monster (which is a good thing, right!?).

If you're the one hiring him, yes it's a good thing! If yoiu're the one he opposes, it's a bad thing.

Are all NC lawyers paid consultation?

Imagine my shock coming from NYC of all places where the consults are free! It really sucks.

I had asked in the main NC forum if someone could recommend a divorce lawyer around the Fayetteville area. If anyone knows, please get back to me. Thanks in advance.

Oh dear. You really need a signed contract. I would insist on a signed contract b/f going further.

The deal w/ the door locks . . . that is a sticky situation. It appears you don't have separation papers signed yet. If you are going for abandonment (as in - your H moved to another state and has gotten an apartment - or he has moved in w/ another woman) you are probably okay. I mean - if your atty told you it was okay . . . I have always heard you cannot change locks unless you have separation papers signed and it is an abandonment situation. Heck, that is what lawyers are for so surely he has told you the right thing!!!!!

I wanted to add . . . your attorney is your advocate. If you are not feeling good about him, don't go further. There are too many attorneys in town to do otherwise.

Cash payments are not a good thing. At least make sure you have a signed receipt.

Unfortunately I can't go through another fight right now. I sent him the remainder of his retainer and made an appointment with him the day after I got my sep. papers in the mail. I called him to tell him that I was running late and he told me that he would just have to reschedual for monday. Now I am afraid I got charged for that session.

I am a firm believer in living up to promises you made in your wedding vows. Till death do you part. If you can't stay married to them, you gotta kill em
