+1....Fresh seafood should also be packed in ice, not just sitting in trays.
Also, anyone know a place selling Prince Edward Island mussels? Not just any mussels will do.
I know you don't care for the seafood dept at HT, however I order mussels on a periodic basis from them and never had a bad experience. They've always been fresh. (ANYWHERE I buy Mussels, I always do the "sniff" test to the dislike of the seafood mgr...)

Ahh yes, the sniff test is important.....and if the mgr doesn't like it, poor him. He outta know better. I have gotten mussels from HT and I admit they weren't bad, they just don't compare to P.E.I.

This is probably the place with the freshest fish in Charlotte. Reason: a lot of it is still living. Produce is excellent too. I am referring to the Asian Store that is the old Winn-Dixie aka Woolco store at the end of the mall.
