Hi everyone. We finally arrived in NC to our temporary housing in Huntersville. I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum who helped me through this transition. It has been bitter sweet. On our way down yesterday we received a phone call from my father in law in SC that my mother in law died in a car accident. We are all in shock. We were looking forward to being close to the inlaws. Our lives have been changed in just one quick moment. Instead of going to my in laws for dinner tonight as planned we were planning a funeral. The good news is we drove by our new house(which is being built) and it is really beautiful, nicer than I expected. I'm glad my MIL was able to see our new home before she died(she was so excited). Sorry to post such a sad note but I really just wanted to say thanks and let you know we are here.

How bittersweet indeed. So sorry for your loss. Take comfort in the fact that she did get to see your new home & shared in your joy of a new beginning. It will be a blessing for your family that you are here, especially your FIL who will need your love & support now more than ever.

In my prayers, BxRosie
