I can go to Charlotte, Atlanta or Huntsville to teach. I am looking for a good quality of life and some cultural events. In addition to enjoying my work, I want to meet and date other singles, too. Please give your honest opinions. Keep in mind the fact that I am a single Black female with a masters' degree.
Where would you go? I keep hearing that the qality of life is better, even in Huntsville.

As much as I would like to say come to Charlotte, given that you are a single, black female I think Atlanta might offer you a bit more of what you are looking for. Charlotte in general is a family oriented city. And while Huntersville does have singles living there, most neighborhoods do seem geared toward families. It is my understanding that Atlanta has a much bigger single social scene. Best of luck to you whichever way you decide to go!

Just to clear it up, I think she means Huntsville, AL not Huntersville, NC.

OOPS, thanks for catching that - I read the post too quickly - looks like she did indeed mean Huntsville ALABAMA, not Huntersville NC, lol! Well, I still say Atlanta

Do you realize that Huntsville is a very small city? The quality of life there is very good and most people there have degrees, however, not much chance of meeting a black man there. Seems that 90 percent of the population is white. Atlanta is very huge and your best shot would be to go to Atlanta. Charlotte is good but much smaller than Atlanta.
