I LOVE the 10% off coupons we get with our Red Card. That and some serious sales make Target alot more affordable!

...compared to what!!! Grocery prices are more expensive here then they were up in DC, but that's another story.
I have visited the Super Wal-Mart and Super Target in Mooresville and compared to them Harris-Teeter's is absurd and Lowe's is no day at the beach either. Super Target's quality and selection is a step up from Wal-Mart's too.

They need to redo that section of North Cross with less acres of pavement and more stores and inviting enviroment where you can walk to various stores.
Best store there now is Uncommon Scents.
Have you notice how many empty stores are in that section.... WOW pretty sad for a booming area that is located in.

I love the pond especially with the fountain running and they bricked up the other fountain nearby and any buisness in that section doesnt get enough foot traffic or the stores do not have their back doors open so you can mingle from the store to the fountain back to the store.
Every restaurant that has located where Pssagettis was located has fail I have seen 3 fail since I have been in Huntersville.
I use to go to the fountain to have lunch and in one of the potted bushes a duck was protecting its eggs.

Dang... Pssagettis is gone? I always wanted to go there, but never got to do it.

BTW, from what I've heard (and it's only hearsay), now that Super Target opened at Exit 18, they will not refurbish Huntersville, but they'll put a Super in the new Cornelius shopping project up Hwy 21 from the current location.

I smell another empty box store in the works.

Already Old Navy vacated due to not enough sales
The Discount Christian Book Store
Sally's relocated to the new section of North Cross
GNC relocated to the new section of North Cross
Buzzy & Bears out of buisness that was sad they was a great couple and friendly.
Pet Mania is still there but I am sure they are struggling with PetCo around the corner.
The Ebay store closed
That ice cream shop but I cannot remember the name TGYB or TGYF something of that effect.

Pssagettis was just ok in my book. They spent the money on the interior but the tomato sauce tasted Generic. They are still open in Blowing Rock.

Once the new Super Target opens I would have no reason to go to the one at NorthCross. For me it was like a limited type store especially in the Entertainment, Sporting Goods, Automotive areas.

The Northcross Target is going to get expanded and remodeled. It was in the Herald about three weeks ago. They are going to add to the back, and then push out the retail store and remodel to match current non-Super Target stores. Also, the pond is going to get paved over and more retail is going there along with another outbuilding on the side between the Shell station and the Target part of the center. There is just empty parking lot there now.

And, of course, the former Old Navy is being converted to a Blacklion store. I also belive that the Harris Teeter is expanding into some of the surrounding spaces.

Yeah, I think all of NorthCross is being slated for re-development/refurbishing. It's much needed. That HT there is actually nice inside, but small and the parking lot is a nightmare.

I am looking forward to the change, but of course the roads around it are still a night mare.
