Can anyone give me some info on new construction home communities. Looking at Approx 4000 Sq ft and spending no more $450,000. Would prefer golf community but will look into anything. Great schools and highly respected area a must. A plus also would be not to far from the major highway and close to great shooping etc..A community with kids in mind is also a plus!!Tree lined sidewalks on both sides of the street. A money tree out back.. (just Joking)
Thank you in advance. I have family in Huntersville and love that area but every area such as Skybrook North that we love we dislike the elem and middle schools for that area. The older communities in Huntersville have great schools. I'm finding it challenging to find a new community where we can build and have great schools. I have looked into Charter schools but..if I can build in an area with great school reports we would prefer to do that.
Thanks again in advance.

I was joking about the money tree!!! I contacted Irish Creek. The homes START at $1,000,000. I would need to plant a plantation of money trees.
Thanks anyway!

Why were you unhappy with Odell Elementary and Harris Road MIddle School? I am just curious, those are wonderful schools.

Have you tried Parkside at Skybrook North? If you go on the Ryan website they mention a golf course for that community. It's Huntersville though.

In Cabarrus, there is Trinity Crest, also by Ryan. I've been there and its a very nice, all brick home community. The schools are supposed to be good too.

Also maybe Wellington Chase, by Orleans homes. Gorgeous model there! Also good lot sizes and good schools too. No golf course.

Cannon Crossing by Ryland may be another option....again no golf.

Highland Creek has homes on the Cabarrus side....

If I think of any others I'll post some more.

Wellington Chase residents would go to Odell, Harris, NW Cabarrus High. Odell is a terrific school in my opinion.
Trinity Crest I believe would go to Boger Elementary....not sure on Middle or High School. I don't know much about Boger except that it is pretty new.
Cannon Crossing goes to Cox Mill Elementary, again not sure on Middle or High. I have heard good things on Cox Mill.
Parkside at Skybrook I think is Huntersville Elementary...not sure though.
Not sure with Highland Creek....it's a big community and it confuses me!

I don't think you're going to find anything "upscale" at $125.50/sq ft. Decent? Yes. Upscale? No.
