Okay, Okay...you get some cool points for that one, you are probably right. I'll tell you what, give me the names of the areas in SC that would be "friendly" places, and I will drive down there on my visit and check it out. When we get back I'll let you know what I think.

Welcome to Charlotte! As a Cave Spring HS grad, I can tell you that you will find several areas around Clt that have the best of Roanoke (friendly, easy to navigate, feels like a small town) with the best of a larger city- sports, dining, etc...
Just shout if you need anything- there are a lot of people here who would love to help you find housing, etc.
