Demere--Wesley Chapel or Waxhaw??? (Charlotte, Welcome: employment, neighborhood, closing)

Moving to Demere soon and just wondering what town it is actually in. The mailing address is Waxhaw but I've read some things which made me think it might be in Wesley Chapel??? With all the unincorporated areas I am very confused

It has a Waxhaw address b/c that is the post office that our mail comes from, but it is unincorporated Wesley Chapel. It is very confusing. Welcome to the neighborhood! We have been here almost a year and have been happy with our choice!

thanks for the answer--we'll be closing/moving in the end of the month and it's helpful to know where we will actually be living. Demere seems like a great neighborhood for us and in a great location.

I am a retired cop from the Albany NY area and have been trying to talk my wife into moving to Charlotte area for the past 2 years. I think I am getting to her and the Demere subdivision seems like a perfect fit. We have 3 children ages 6, 8 and 10. She is currently a Parole Officer with NYS and I teach golf and work part-time for a security firm. Any of the ritered guys down there know of any jobs available for either of us. I think if I can show her there is plenty of employment opportunities it would be an easier sell. Thanks for any help.
