I am looking for a new pediatrician for my two children ages 2 and 4. I am expecting a third baby this fall.
I have been taking them to Lake Norman Pediatrics. I do like this practice- however, the commute to Mooresville is cumbersome from our house off of exit 28 Cornelius.

Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician in our around Cornelius, Huntersville or Davidson? Would prefer a smaller practice with a well/sick room that has seperation.

Thank you!

The following made the Best Doctors in North Carolina list
Best Doctors, which polls physicians nationwide, received record responses for the 2008-09 list. Doctors are asked whom they would choose if they or a member of their family needed a specialist. Fewer than 5% of North Carolina's 29,000 licensed physicians made the list.
. Best Doctors accepts no fees from doctors but sells the results of its polling to insurers and employers, which make the information available to employees to choose doctors for primary visits or second opinions. "If a patient is told they have a brain tumor, it's useful to know who the best neurosurgeon is but more useful to know if they, in fact, have a brain tumor,".

Here is the Best Doctors in PEDIATRICS (GENERAL) in Lake Norman who made the list.
There is more in the Charlotte area and other metros of the state

Joseph Barrocas | Huntersville Pediatrics and Internal Medicine | Huntersville
William K. Flannery | Huntersville Pediatrics and Internal Medicine | Huntersville
Stephen K. Mange | Davidson Clinic | Davidson

We use Dr. Barracas at Huntersville Peds and IM at exit 25 and are very happy.

Are you a member of lakenormanmommies.com? The mommas there have tons of info on pediatricians, etc. Worth joining just on that alone!

Growing Up Pediatrics are also a good one. Not so much into giving a shot etc just to fix something. They like to work with some of the more natural remedies first. Dr. Wendy is just the best!
