I live in Lake Wylie just across from the Buster Boyd Bridge, so I am posting this in the Charlotte and York County Forums. I need a pet sitter for the week of 9/13-9/20. I know of a number of teenagers who do this in the community, but one cat needs an insulin injection 2X a day and I would feel more comfortable with an experienced adult. The pets are 2 cats and one dog (needs to be walked 2X a day). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Default petsitter

I use Meow and Fetch and so does one of my co-workers. We're both in South Charlotte. Go to their website and you can see the caregivers biographies.

Have used them for several years and my shy kitty likes my sitter....and she doesn't like anyone!!!!

This ad is posted by the mailboxes in Steelecroft Farm Apartments (at the intersection of 49 & 160, so not far from you). Not sure if she's right for what you need, but I thought I'd share. I'm gonna call her to see if she can feed my cats when I'm out of town.

Apparently, sitting on babies is her main thing, but at the bottom it says pets, too.

we use Welcome to Gopher Dogs Online and are always happy with their service. same sitter every time and they even have an online doggy diary so we can log on and read our dogs "diary". it's written from our dogs perspective about what she did with the sitter, haha. not sure if they service your area, but they are worth checking out! good luck.

We use For Pets Sake: Charlotte Pet Sitting. Pet Sitting Charlotte. Matthews Pet Sitting.

They have been great and are also very highly rated on Angies List.

Another option is to contact your vet. Many of the employees who care for the animals while they are there, are always looking for some extra cash, and obviously love animals or they wouldn't be working there.
