Meet-up groups are a wonderful way to meet people with common interests, to learn about one of your favorite hobbies or passions or to network.

I belong to a few having to do with photography, real estate and some other very esoteric subjects.

What groups do you belong to? Tell us a little bit more about the group and why you joined.

Does CHOA count as a meet up group?

Even if it doesn't, I love CHOA.

Judging from their Events list it looks like a very active meet-up group to me. Thanks for sharing.

I'm in the Charlotte Active Dogs Meetup Group. I haven't been to many of their summer events, but during the spring we went to a few events where all of the dog owners got together and did some light trail hikes. A good time was had by all.

All of mine involve my kids! I don't have time outside of kids to do grown up only stuff these days.
