The week of Nov. 3-7 is bad for me. I'll be in Asheville for training (wish I could say "darn!"). The week of the 10th or the 17th is good for me...any day.
I know that I am relatively new to the board, but i would enjoy putting a face to the names. Just out of curiousity...would dinner or weekend work for anyone?
You could always do something regularly scheduled like on the First Friday of each month. You could have people vote for a different restaurant in a different area each time to open it up to more people, and by making it a regular First Friday kind of thing, you would always be assured of a decent crowd for lunch each time since people could plan for it a little in advance. I know I probably made it much more complicated than necessary haha, but hey just a thought!

My husband and his friends were in the same boat and they started to keep the first friday of the month clear so that they could get together. The group has expanded and they are now in their 9th year of the first friday club!!! Some months there are many, some months there are fewer but they all know where to meet and at what time on the first friday of each month.
I like the idea of the First Friday Club! Maybe somebody is interested in starting one for C-D posters.
For now, I'd like to propose our lunch for 10/31 @ 1:15 pm at Jason's Deli in the Epicenter. Sunny, if you could make this sticky, I'd appreciate it.
If you plan on attending, please reply here just so we can get a sense of how many are coming. Besides FlightAttendant, who will be coming in costume... err... in uniform, how will we know each other?

I'll be there... just need to know where it is exactly since I'm not familiar with Uptown too much. And if someone could suggest parking options, that would be great too.
