Does anyone know of any unique toy stores in Charlotte?...the type that have those one of a kind of toys/gifts that you don't normally see at the chain department toy stores?

Happy Holidays!

There's Brilliant Sky in Blakeney that you might take a look at. I found some pretty cool things for my daughter there.

Bedford Falls (http://www.bedfordfallsusa.com/toy.shop.main.htm - broken link)? I've never been there, but I read a review or two and it may be what you're looking for. It's in the Park Road Shopping Center (at the corner of Park and Woodlawn).

From an online customer review:
"But what they lack in selection, they make up for in quality, uniqueness, and charm. My son and I could stay in there for hours and they have many toys around for "testing". The teen staff can be a little aloof, but when asked will always help. Shop here for that one-of-a-kind gift or for old fashioned fun."

I'd try Black Forest in Myers Park. Small, but great!

Default Thanks for posting

I love stores like this. I knew they would have to open up some type of toy store in Blakeney. There are a zillion kids there!

There's a toy store in the Park Rd. Shopping Center that had a lot of toys from my childhood. I don't remember the name, but it's on the corner of Park and Woodlawn.
