Last spring, I expanded on our patio with pavers. We had a basic townhome patio with not enough room. Doubled the space with some 6x12 cobble pavers from Home Depot and also put in a raised brink planter. The project took about 2 days and did it myself, so it was not too costly. Attached are some pictures.

Bought pavers from Blue Max (indian Trail) and installed by Legacy Landscape (Shaun Crooks owner). There is a right and wrong way to install. Shaun knows what he is doing. I have neighbors who went with cheapest installer, now pavers are floating all over.
I am in the process of having a patio installed now. Material from Blue Max. So far so good. here is his web site. I think he his about a month or six weeks backed up at this point. if you want more info let me know
