I have a psych degree but am willing to do receptionist, or admin work. just curious how the hourly wages compare to fl and pa. for ex. pt clerical in orlando pays $8/hr and in philli it pays about 11/hr.

I would say you would find wages less than those in Philli.
Be prepared to take a pay cut. But also keep in mind that it is all relative. You may not make as much but you also will not take a beating in taxes etc.

...or in housing costs, entertainment costs, and other everyday expenses. My co-workers based in Philly complain about the costs all the time.
My DH took a 33% pay cut overall to his salary. If I work I will take a 30% pay cut if I work in the local schools here.
Not everything is cheaper. We found many groceries to be the same price. Cars and retail are the same prices. You will save a little on gas and taxes. The biggest difference is housing.
it sounds similiar to orlando fl comparing wages, but I'm guessing a house in concord area would be about 75k then?
