We're relocating from LI, and are very interested in Silver Creek. Can anyone give us any information they have? We were also very interested in Lawson.

Silver Creek is one of my favorite neighborhoods here in UC. We really wanted to be in there when we first moved here....but there wasn't anything for sale. The nice thing about SC is that it is small in comparison to some of the mega neighborhoods being built down in that area. It's a nice mixture of natives and transplants (good to have that balance) Pool is small if you are comparing it to the mega neighborhoods...but there are less folks to share it with and lots of people in SC have their own pools because the lots are nice and big. SC will be re-zoned to Cutherbertson Middle and High next year which will be nice. We have friends in there who adore the neighborhood and the neighbors. Good luck and happy house-hunting.

I live in SC and lreally like it, feel free to DM me,

and yes the pool is small and that does has its benefits and everybody is really friendly.

We moved from LI to SC Jan. 2008.

There were 2 builders in here and the houses are really lovely. They have some community events throughout the year, most everybody has nice lawns and takes really good care of their properties. Lawson is really nice too, It is a larger community, their pool is really nice, and I think it is opened for a shorter time since they have lifeguard on duty

Good luck, what part of LI?
