Where do you currently live?

I currently live in a suburb of Phoenix. I figured Charlotte's gas prices would be less expensive than Phoenix, but it seems to be pretty close in some areas...a little less.

2.63 weekend rate here in Hampton Roads, Virginia... When I was down there last weekend I thought the rate there was high, only to find out when I got home that our rates went up as well, almost the same

Cross the border to Fort Mill and it will generally cost you 10 - 12 cents less per gallon than Charlotte. Rock Hill is sometimes even lower. $2.49 yesterday down there.

I am so glad we have all this transit in Portland, which is about the size of Charlotte. I hardly have to buy gas here, since The trains etc cover the majority of the metro area. The gas here the very cheapest seems to be $2.89 to about 2.95. I saw a gas station downtown yesterday the cheapest was $3.12 and the highest 3.50. so Charlotte your gas is cheaper, but its going to go higher this time than before I think everywhere.

In CT I just paid $3.27 for premium. Charlotte was much cheaper this past week, but I rented a car and used regular down there ($2.55 for reg in CLT).
