my budget is 70-85k does anyone know this area?

I don't know if you are going to find anything in that area in that price range. Check out some websites and do some research. Realtor.com would be a good start.

My best guess, the only thing that I could think of would be a mobile on land in that price range. I've seen them listed and my husband's grandparents are buying one around that range with a couple of acres of land in Gaffney, SC. Please remember is a 10 year old MOL.

You can probably find a house in that range, but it will be hard. It may not be in a good area and it will be older, but I'd say it is very possible. Check out www.coldwellbanker.com and do a search. I just did and found several houses in your price range.

Default house in Rock Hill

70 - 85k might even be a bit tight for Rock Hill. Make that around 120k and it should be possible to find you something suitable.
