I agree that folks must have as much info as possible to make an informed choice about where to live, and therefore all points of view are encouraged here.

HOWEVER, there is a big difference between offering real information versus ragging on an area and its people. Pinpin has continued to post in an ugly, angry way about a place that obviously wasn't for her, we got that the first post she made. But her insistence on continuing to do so has veered off the informational track to simply being rude.
I am a lover of the "antique roadshow" homes (as I call them). I too have lived in Concord for several plus years. I will warn you that many Real Estate Brokers (whom surreptitiously post to this site) and "hicks" as pinpin refers to them will barrage you with the "venus-fly-trap" repertoire of "It's a great- friendly town, a great place to raise kids....yahdda yahdda yahdda". I am not at all proud to say that I/We did not do our research properly and fell victim to the curb appeal of Historic Concord. We bought ...We regret (dearly)...we too have moved on at significant loss. Many of these "Folk" posting comments here have alterior motives and I'm afraid are whole heartedly believing the mantra: "If we work together to convince every one else that this is some sort of NIRVANA-esque American Town our property values will soar and we'll all be R.I.C.H.!!!!" Let's not let the thought police control everything we think/say.

Hey people,
Originally from NYC, currently residing in Fayetteville, NC for the past year. HATE IT!! Looking to move the family to Charlotte or Concord. 4 children 12,11,10 and 4. Looking for a safe kid friendly area (with good school system or charter schools) to reside for the next 5 years til it's time to Buy our home. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
