Can anyone tell me when the kids in Matthews (Mecklenburg) go back to Elementary and Jr. High schools?

I don't have kids ...but I am so ready for them to be back at school!

You are ready for the kids you don't have to go back to school???

Start date is always the 3rd week of August - so I'm thinking around August 24

I guess they don't care about the AC...they go back on Aug 25th.

NC GS_115c-84.2(d)

No school may begin before August 25th nor end after June 10th. Year round schools are the exception.
