I was extremely excited when a friend recently told me about a new place Uptown that sells Doner Kabob: Café Metropolitan. They are located in the back of Latta Arcade; near The French Quarter. My wish literally came true. Below is the website if anyone is interested in checking it out.

I'm not affiliated with them. I'm just half Turkish and have seen Mediterranean joints (like Sofram) struggle and close. Just yesterday I was in a Mediterranean store to buy hot pepper paste and overheard the owner telling a friend how he is struggling to keep the place open.
