Do any of you know of any good bakeries in Charlotte? I would prefer something either in the University area where I work, or on the S/SW side close to where I live.
The trouble is this, I have been searching the grocery stores for Ladyfingers, (It's a type of cookie, if you don't know), and I can't find them anywhere. I want to make Tiramisu...and I need Ladyfingers! I used to stop at an italian bakery by my house in Michigan...but I don't know where to go here.

Thanks!
I just saw ladyfingers in the bakery section of Harris Teeter yesterday.
Try Lowe's Foods, there's one in the University Area in the Mallard Creek Area. You'll be surprised what you'd fine. Also, check Bi-LO.
We always searched for Rye Bread the big round one and Walmart superstore actually carries them.
There's a bakery called Jersey Girls, but I have no idea if they are any good.

I have actually tried Lowe's foods as well...the one in Fort Mill. No such luck.
I love a good bakery, anyway...I'll have to go out on a search!
