Looking for a great Reuben sandwich - on excellent Jewish or marble rye. This is going to be treat so I'll drive to the edges of the Charlotte metro if need be!

What are your recommendations?

+1 for Katz Deli. It's around the back of the big building on the SE corner of 51/Providence, kind of behind all the banks. If you see Quiznos, keep going around the back.
Excellent pickles, too.

I hear Katz is good too. However, I did have a good Reuben at the Mint Hill Deli.
By the way, you have made me crave a Reuben now!

Ahhh, a story on NPR about great pastrami and those who would defile it with white bread, mayo, and tomato, got me thinking ... and salivating. It is only fair that the craving should spread!

I second both of these. The Reuben at Big View is actually really, really, good.
