After football games, when other cities go to the postgame and press conferences, we go to the news. It's ridiculous
Hey guys, May is the book for TV...or "sweeps" as some people call it. In the business, May is one of the biggest books of the year. So that's why you are hearing all the ads for TV news on the radio right now. It will stop in June. Expect the same in November.

I'm not old. I'm 27 & I can't stand him. He grates on my nerves & his morning show is just annoying.

Oh lighten up Old was not meaning old age, it's an expression. I love Brotha Fred and I even wrote to Fox Charlotte and said how much I love him I'm watching Fox Charlotte right now! Can't wait for The Edge to come on.

Thumbs down Brotha Fred

I watch Brotha Fred, when I need a laugh, ONLY! Not cause he's funny, just because I can not believe this news show!

That FOX news show in the morning is pretty good, with that roving reporter (I forgot his name!)

Matt and Ramona are the best!

The Roving Reporter is John Wilson. He was a DJ on WRFX 99.7 the Fox, and he was one of the BEST DJ's that I've ever heard. Funny thing about Fox iN Charlotte, between "The Edge" and the "Fox News Rising" shows, I just can't understand how they have any ratings at all. I remember when Fox News Rising first started out, and they had an extremely low budget with a lady who was a DJ from 104.7 and another guy and it was the worst. They guy that was hosting was later arrested or charged with something like battery on his ex wife or something. They have since "Classed it up" some with the changes. It kills me about Derek "Peezy" James being the weatherman on Fox since he was a radio producer for Matt and Ramona for so long. I always thought you have to go to school to be a weatherman, not just some average Joe off the streets.

Sorry this is my ramble for the day....

Fox news rising still needs help but not a great source to get the latest information and get it quick. But I do a agree John Wilson and Beth Troutman make the show. I think she has a wonderful down to earth personality and John Wilson you can tell when he didnt get much sleep the night before in his eyes but still a bubbly personality.

I am partial to Derek James since meeting him, Matt & Ramona at a post Hurricane Katrina fundraising event all three was very down to earth like I was talking to my neighbors not a ounce of snoot in them. (Derek is working on his degree in broadcast meteorology)

I notice something last night when I was up late about Brian Blakey of the fox news unless he has a twin brother I swear that he does a abdominal ab infomercial on the device that sends electric pules to the abs.

How about throwing him and sis and their family argument out for something a little more educational.
