Hey all -

While the people who built my house put every bit of attention imaginiable into the house itself, I have to say that the property it sits on was pretty much left as an afterthought. The driveways are gravel and the grass just doesn't want to grow (but weeds do). I have had a lot of big ideas since we moved in but lacked the funds to really act on any of them for the past few months, due to the financial strain of carrying two mortgages. Well, we are finally selling our house in Georgia at the end of this month, and now I will have some cash to play with.

We were thinking that we wanted a brick driveway and pathway out front and a brick patio out in the backyard, and that we need someone who can work enough miracles to make the grass grow. We would also like to plant some tall bushes or trees or something to block the view into one of our neighbor's yards. Is there any one company that anyone knows of that can do all of this, or will I have to hire different companies for different tasks?

This is my first time actually doing anything more than maintaining a yard, and while it is going to be a relatively small job just based on property size, I definitely need professionals if we are going to get this done right.

Any help would be appreciated!

Contact Mike Stewart (mtugman@carolina.rr.com). He is the owner of Picture Perfect Landscape and Irrigation. I think he can help you with everything you need. Tell him that Robbie from Sherrills Ford sent you!

David Harris owner of Harris Land Care (d.harris.3@hotmail.com) has performed some very nice work at a neighbor's house. I don't know if he does everything that you need but it would be worth an email to find out.
