No, seriously, I am surprised at how many Red Sox fans we've met in Charlotte. They're all very nice.....until the morning after their losses!.
ROTFLOL!! SO TRUE on both counts!

Not really a Sox fan myself, but my wife and I were eating dinner at Beantown Tavern the other night during a game (right in downtown Matthews) and it was packed with Sox fans. It did look to be an organized group as they had free hot dogs and special drink specials...

It's 6-2, top of the 8th. What do you say to that?

I typically can't get into the heated back and forth with other Yankees fans until around August when it really starts to count- trying to keep my blood pressure normal

Probably one of the very few rivalaries in all of US sports that knows no time or distance. Case in point- I once saw a Sox/Yankees arguement at a Patriots/Giants game-lol. Got to love it.

Incidentally, the sox still have a 9.5 game lead in response to Jake's question .

Hey Dave, I have heard mixed reviews to be honest, but since I haven't been there to experience it yet, take this with a grain of salt, a couple of people have told me it's a great place to watch the game, one guy told me that it sucks and he couldn't believe they turned off the Sox game and switched over to Nascar, while he was there.

I'll get down there one of these days to check it out first hand, I'll let you know what I think.
