Can anybody please answer the closing cost question if you're not paying with cash... I'm a teacher, no cash purchase for me. My townhome is 147000. trying to figure out how much closing costs will be

Again this will vary....

I had a client pay cash for a home around $140K and there closing costs were under a $1000.


Atorney Fees
Title Insurance
Recording of Deed
County Taxes

If paying with a loan shoot for around 3%. Hopefully you asked for closing costs....

Its new construction, can you ask for closing costs or have it rolled into the loan?

A rough guess would be $4400. Now if you have closing cost being paid by the seller subtract from above number.

We are not paying cash and are buying new construction. Our builder is paying a majority of the closing costs and we are rolling the rest in to the loan.
