Default phone

I just talked to them it is a digital line so it does include the US and canada in their long distance plan.

$119/month seems like the going rate around here for all these services, but be warned that your actual bill will be higher than that after all the taxes and extra fees thrown in.

I know I was wondering if anyone knew how much the fees and tax would be.

I think our total is 140-150 a month--- that's with Digital Cable, Digital phone, Road Runner, DVR service, HBO & Showtime (and taxes and fees). A year after we subscribed, our bill went up, so I called and took advantage of another promotion (adding HBO & Showtime actually LOWERED my monthly bill).

If you don't already have a wifi network near by, you can make your desktop wireless for under $100. This would include a wifi router and usb/pci wifi card. If all you need is a wifi card, then those can be had for $10-60 depending on what brand and where you buy it. I would recommend linksys or netgear.

I wouldn't pay for timewarner's wireless that they charge for unless you're really needing a separate ip, which is what I *think* you're paying the extra for.

Try Earthlink Phone, it's 1/2 the price of digital phone and it's still time warner, just provided under the earthlink name. The internet service is the same prices though (high).

You don't need all those services either. I know we had time warner for a breif week period for the HDTV and it stunk! We are on Directtv and I love the HD Channels. Excellent quality. The 3rd world customer service stinks though.

LOL....I COMPLETELY agree with you on that one!! Nothing ticks me off more than to get someone who can barely speak the language if I have customer service issues... DELTA is on my "do not fly" list because of my experience with their poor customer service.

$29.99 a one time charge for HD
$3.95 a month for Voicemail
$11.00 a month for HBO
That's it? I pay 136 a month for Cable, with DVR, Phone and road runner. It's a total rip off. I wanted to cancel the phone, (I have a cell ) and the price only dropped 20 bucks, not 39.95 what I pay now for phone, mycable to something like 60 bucks and the internet to 50 something. I have been so pissed off at them. Big conglomerate of money sucking you know what's. I am seriously thinking of cancelling, getting satellite, dsl and maybe no phone. I must have DVR and I must have high speed internet.
