Hello all! I am thoroughly enjoying these forums and have learned so much about the area. We have just moved here from Charleston, SC. We are looking for an interdenominational church that has a good racial mix (white/black/hispanic/asian) in their congregation. We come from a WONDERFUL church called World Harvest in Charleston and wish we could have brought the entire church with us!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Im not sure where you have moved to but welcome to the Carolinas if I remember correctly North Carolina has the most churches of any state so hopefully you should be able to find a great place to attend. I dont know if this directory will help you but least give you some ideas in various cities

Default Inter Racial/ Inter Denominational Churches

Welcome to Charlotte! I moved to Charlotte from Charleston, SC in 2005. I am on the Church planting team for a multi-ethnic/culturally diverse church in Charlotte. Currently there about 20-25 of us including adults and children. We are still in the process of putting a launch team together and will likely start meeting at the Dowd Ymca September 9 2007. Our next get together is August 25 at 4:40 pm, it's a good ol' fish fry since you are from Charleston I'm sure you know about this type of event. If you would like more info you can check us out on the web @ charlottemetrochurch.org or pm me.

Steele Creek Church of Charlotte

We meet in a tent off Arrowood Road. I joined the church 10 years ago with approximately 600 members we are now approaching 2600. PLEASE come and visit our church or our web page.

Our pastor is young and is awesome in his belief of sharing the word with the world. We are paying for our new sanctuary with cash as we go. Instead we are paying for the poor or needed all over the world.

Our church consist of over 50 nations and we meet on Saturday night at 6
Sunday morning at 8:30 and there are three services after that.

Our church is the way it will be in heaven, if you want a view, please come visit!!

Dunroven

I just love old threads.

But I will agree with this poster that Central Church of God is a wonderful church with one of the most diverse congregations I have ever seen.

I have to agree with the other posters, Central Church of God off Sardis is a wonderful church. I moved away from Charlotte and miss Central most of all.
