Hello all! I am thoroughly enjoying these forums and have learned so much about the area. We have just moved here from Charleston, SC. We are looking for an interdenominational church that has a good racial mix (white/black/hispanic/asian) in their congregation. We come from a WONDERFUL church called World Harvest in Charleston and wish we could have brought the entire church with us!
Im not sure where you have moved to but welcome to the Carolinas if I remember correctly North Carolina has the most churches of any state so hopefully you should be able to find a great place to attend. I dont know if this directory will help you but least give you some ideas in various cities Welcome to North Carolina Churches
Welcome to Charlotte! I moved to Charlotte from Charleston, SC in 2005. I am on the Church planting team for a multi-ethnic/culturally diverse church in Charlotte. Currently there about 20-25 of us including adults and children. We are still in the process of putting a launch team together and will likely start meeting at the Dowd Ymca September 9 2007. Our next get together is August 25 at 4:40 pm, it's a good ol' fish fry since you are from Charleston I'm sure you know about this type of event. If you would like more info you can check us out on the web @ charlottemetrochurch.org or pm me.
