I am looking for a place to board my dog in the Huntersville area. I travel some for work and am looking for someplace nice but not extravegant. I'm also not sure what the going rate is for dog boarding so when you recommend, would you mind guessing on cost as well? Thanks for any/all feedback!

As I have mentioned before, I never, ever leave my dog anywhere except meadows bed and biscuit and camp wagging tails. I am also in Huntersville, and these are in Huntersville and Cornelius repectively. Around $30-35 night.

Im looking for somewhere great to board by 6 lb maltipoo. She doesnt even know she's a dog so I def don't want her put in with big dogs. Any recommendations in the Lake Norman area?

Try looking on Craigslist under Pet Services at the bottom right corner. Look for someone who does pet sitting in their home. Sorry, I can't recommend anyone, I'm not in the area.

Have you thought of a pet sitter versus boarding? I use Flo Farracker of Tiny Bubbles Pet Sitting. Her daughter is a vet and so I feel VERY comfortable with her watching the animals.

In fact my one eyed feral cat LOVES her, he usually lives under the bed but loves Flo. Plus she brings in the mail and I then have activity at my house.

It is cheaper for me than boarding and less stressful on my animals.
