Try here: Carolina Adventure World, Southeast's Largest Private Off-Road ATV UTV Dirtbike Park, 100 Miles Groomed Trails or TNT Motorsports, Inc.. Both are south of CLT in SC, but not too far.

Been looking around myself. A 5 minute google search brought up a bunch of places. Uwharrie State Forest seems to be about 30 miles East or so and has a lot of nice trails, rentals etc.

Heading Northwest about an hour you have Brown Mountain and Brushy Mountain. Brushy looks really nice with about 70 miles of trails.

HTH

Unfortunately it seems nanny statism is taking hold in NC too and the legislature decided to be parents to our children and don't allow kids under 8 to ride, and then put a very lame engine size restriction on them till they are 16. Sigh... Well they'll have to just ticket me, because I know what's best for my kid. I was roosting it up before 8 on a hotrod 80CC MX.

Carolina adventure world is great if you have an atv. Quite expensive otherwise. Proably around $200 after atv and helmet rental. But it is gorgeous!!
