I have not dealt with Davis Homes there -- I have dealt with Regent Homes in Waterlyn.

Is that off Sunset Rd.? I don't know about Davis as a builder but I'd look into the area for crime. I interviewed for a hostess position at either Leslie Brooke or Waterlyn around Sunset and Statesville Rd. (both built by Davis). My husband did not want me working there all day long by myself. But I can't comment on the builder, houses looked very nice, though. Do your research about crime stats before buying.

Hello, we are currently having our home built by Davis Homes. They are pretty good so far, we put our deposit down in February and we just returned last week from viewing the progress, house looks great, people in the community are friendly and Kevin, the sales guy is a pretty nice guy. We are having two houses built in Waterlyn (one for us and one as an investment) and my sister in law is buliding also, but with Regent. Are there any specific questions taht you may have?

I would love to know what other people think about Waterlynn (two n's) because that is coming out on top as our favorite community to build in - great location and great looking homes. Not many communities with a pool, either, and they have one.
As for crime, I think you must be thinking of Leslie Brooke - drove by there not too long ago to look at another Davis community and did NOT like the area at all. Waterlynn is all country roads and quiet and serene. I think one phase is done there and the second is in full swing.

If you're living there could you tell me what floor plan you got and how long you've lived there and what you think of the finished product? We want to buy soon, but it's our first time and we're hesitant... thanks!
