Oh, the Aveda institute in Charlotte caters to both men and women. They are students, but they are closely supervised and do a great job.

My husband goes to Modern Salon (Ballantyne Village) and Gina cuts his hair. She always does a nice job, and it's not very expensive.

Default Emerson Joseph

I am surprised it hasn't been mentioned. It is the best all men's salon we have found. They have a few locations but my husband goes to the one in Ballantyne. He sees Cher and is very happy with her. He has thick wavy hair is super picky! She does a great job. The carry a pretty good product line too and my husband loves the pampered treatment! I highly recommend!

I have to agree with other posters regarding price over foo foo services & products.

Not sure where you work but I live in Ballentine and work uptown Charlotte. I get my haircut at a place called the cut barbershop. Place is nice on the inside. Haircuts are always great and they are only $18. They also have beer, although I usually go on my lunch break, so I can't usually drink a cold on. 121 W. Trade (Trade & Tryon next to hooters)

Rooster's ugh. Lousy attitude and service.

Emerson Joseph in BV is quite good though a bit pricey.

Yeah!

Real men go to hair saloons!

You get your hair cut and the longer you stay the less you worry about how it looks when they are done.
