I was thinking of getting my realtor/broker license for real estate. Wanted to know if anyone recently took the exam and the 75 hour class room course that is required. Was it difficult?

I have been out of school for about 25 years or so. Was the exams difficult to pass? any feedback would be appreciated.

thanks,

Dennise

The test can be difficult because it covers so much material but if you attend all the classes and keep up with all the reading you will be well prepared to pass the test. I would not worry about being out of school for a while, the instructors are very qualified in presenting the material to diverse classes. You can also take the test more than once if you need to and there are additional classes to help you catch up if needed. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

City-Data has a sub-forum that deals with "Real Estate". I would bet you would get the real low down in that forum.

I took the class online a few years back. One of the schools in VA BEach had the self study option ( it was more suited to my needs which was time) with the CD that kept track of the amount of time spent on the program. . I took the test and passed but never applied for the license. All in all I found it quite easy. Not sure about NC but it could not be that much different.

The class is pretty intense. I think less than 50% of the class pass it the first time.
