Perhaps not frozen then microwaved but they are pre-made. My wife wanted it without something or other and the waitress said they couldn't be customized because they are pre-made.
hmmm, two people with one post each both recommending this place. Interesting...
As always good point, bs13690.
Regardless, my brother and his wife went there sans kids last Saturday night and really enjoyed it. They both said it was fantastic.

That is a bit scary, but I'll reserve judgement until I can check it out for myself...
We ate there a few weeks ago after the Matthews lighting of the Christmas tree. We thought it was pretty good. I'd go back. My kids liked it which is a key point for us LOL.
As a side note, I LOVE Cabo Fish Taco in NoDa and am planning a trip there this week. I hope the food stays consistently good b/c I'm bringing guests too
Went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty good - not fantastic, but a solid B or even B+. Margueritas were good too! Would definitely try it again.
When I'm asked about Pure, I always say, "They don't have a combo #10." The menu is varied. I've been several times (lunch today, as a matter of fact) and try to order something different each time. I do like the (tres) ceviches, which, I admit, I'd never had ceviche and was afraid of trying it. It was surprisingly good. I love the mussels -- something that restaurants can either do so well or so bad. Guess they got rid of the conch fritters, because I didn't see them on the menu (seasonal?). The queso fundido with chourizo is very yummy.
I don't know if this just started, but it wasn't available the last time I was there -- they have five lunches for $5.00. I think their dinner portions are huge, so it was nice to have a smaller portion.
If you go for lunch and it's cold outside, ask to sit in the other room, because you'll feel the chill every time the door opens.
It's pretty crowded on the weekends. I'm looking forward to when they open the garage doors again.
As a side note, for plain old Tex-Mex (and the combo #10), my family goes to Chile Verde.
