I am a professional female new to Charlotte. I am looking for a small private apartment (garage apartment OK) or a small house to rent in a safe area. It would be ideal if it had its own entrance and a small kitchen. I am quiet, clean and responsible. Can provide references and pass a credit check.

I guess it really depends on where you would like to live?

Also where you are working would be a great help and also your price point.

I would prefer South Charlotte or Steele Creeke area. I would like to keep the rent around 500.00 or 600.00 with utilities included.

Going to be honest would not expect to be able to find a private apartment for that price, some apartment complexes yes, but not a private one.

you can check craigslist to see what is available. for a nice area, you probably won't find what you are looking for at that price point. you can rent a room in a nice home in a safe area for that price with utilities, but you'd likely have to share common areas. not a bad deal if you find a good match.

Thanks for your reply. I will check out the apartment complexes in those areas.
