Friday morning, a friend said Mayor Pro Tem Susan Burgess is now confined to her bed and only family members are allowed to visit.Burgess has been battling cancer since 2007.
Your in my daily prayer Susan stay mentally strong.
I watched a family member whittle away from colon cancer last year. It was something that I would not wish on anyone. Heartbreaking to see them suffer. Hopefully hers would not be as long and her suffering on earth ends soon. Prayers for her and the family.
You cannot explain how bad the "downhill" can get unless you see it first hand. Like LM said, say a prayer she finds a better place as quick as possible.

It is pretty bad and my experience ended August 1 last year. To this day the suffering is all I see and wish I could get it out of my head. I still cry and I am pretty good at handling death just not the suffering.

Hoping that she has a merciful, peaceful and quick passing. Lost my mom last November and despite hospice care, we prayed every day that her passing would come quickly. Cancer does really suck !!
