I have tried searching craigslist and all the websites I could find but there are not many houses in my area for rent (southpark).

Would any of the real estate or rental management firms be able to give me a free list of comps if I am interested in possibly using them to manage my rental?

Anywhere else to get a list of rental comps?

Thanks.

Frank, are you renting your house out and leaving Charlotte?

Can't give you any specific sites to look at, but can tell you I believe in your area right now you could get about $1250 a month.

Hey,

Not sure yet. I am interviewing for a job in Virginia and I want to try and figure out how much I could rent my house for and factor that into my salary requirments.

We love Charlotte and really don't want to leave, but, the job market is very tough here.

I hear ya my friend, I hear ya. You know we had to leave last year too. We came back this winter, but it took another 4 months for my husband to get something. It is SO frustrating.

The good news for you is, there is a high demand for rental homes right now. Too many people are afraid to bite the bullet and buy right now (though with these interest rates how can you not?? )
