I've seen a lot of posts about Afton mountain and how foggy and scary it can get but I drive from Harrisonburg to Greene every day on route 33. So far, the fog hasn't been terribly scary since I can slow down to 20-25 if it gets bad, but the fog usually is only at the very top or for a moment.

I dont commute but I have noticed a lot of crazy drivers. Not to generalize but anyone with a sport bike, sports car or modded diesel seems to think the mountains are a race track or proving ground.
