Hello, my son races BMX or bicycle motocross. All though part of the fun to racing is the travel, trips to Winchester or NoVa. can get old after a bit. A lot of folks seem to enjoy cycling in this area so I was wondering why there is no ABA/USA-BMX sanctioned tracks.

What about the Richmond track? That's easier to get to than NoVa or Winchester. This is from the webpage for this track on on USA BMX / BMX CANADA - World's largest BMX racing organization

A long running BMX track located in Gillies Creek Park, just mintes from the Capital District of Richmond Virginia. The track is located in Gillies Creek Park just behind Mt Calvary Baptist Church less than 5 miles from both I-64 and I-95.

Good luck.

Richmond might be better then. I have nothing against NoVa BMX but the traffic is horrid. Good folks up in Winchester but that's a long race when figuring the drive time.
