Seriously? They Killed this girl for her Bicycle parts?

What is this world coming to!

New Jersey authorities say girl was strangled by teen brothers for parts of her BMX bike

Quote:
A teenage boy lured a 12-year-old girl into his house under the guise of getting parts for her treasured bicycle and then, with his older brother, killed her, police said Tuesday. The girl's disappearance had sparked a frantic search by residents of her small town until a tip from the boys' mother led police to her body, stuffed into a home recycling bin.
Quote:
Autumn's BMX bike and other belongings were recovered from the boys' home, the prosecutor said. He did not detail all the items, but a backpack matching a description of the girl's was also seen being taken out.

This is terrible. May God bless this young girl's family.

I just know that this story will be all over MSNBC and CNN for weeks and weeks.

My condolences to Autumn's family. This is so horrible -- as a parent of a 12 year old, it makes me that much more worried.

As for the brothers: I hope they are tried as adults. This was cold and calculated. Thank heaven the mother of the boys turned them in. What a heartache this has to be for her.

This stuff has always happened only it didn't used to make the national news. This truly is nothing new. It's still sad but to claim we are currently having some sort of moral crisis or that morality is in any way less because you finally read about this sort of thing is retarded as well as wrong.

That is b.s. no one strangles someone for 'bicycle parts'. Where do they get these reporters? Seriously, who jumps to the conclusion, 'it must have been the bike, there's the motive!'? There aren't enough Pulitzers to go around for these geniuses we have in the business these days.

I'm going to 'jump to the conclusion' that she witnessed something in their home that they didn't want getting out, and that's why they killed her.

If you don't see the moral degradation of this culture, your head is in the sand.

In the 60's we had "My Girl", in 2012 we have "Girl, shake that booty meat".

I have more extreme examples if you are interested.

It's a conclusion nonetheless....just like the reporter.

They wanted her bike...it's pretty evident. Even the father snitched on his son saying he was known for stealing bikes.

*shrugs*

This is due to the bad influence of other African Americans like Tim McVeigh, Andrew Stack and John Wayne Gacy.

known for stealing bikes?
Are you being serious?

Oh, he liked bikes. And he stole them....oh oh oh and she had a bike! Eureka, we've got our motive!

That is not a motive, the prosecution better not go to court with something so weak. They would be better off going for the racially motivated hate crime than 'it was for her huffy'.
