they're everywhere in the neighborhood, and seem to favor the sunny side of our house in the afternoon. The garage doors are covered with them. The porch is buzzing with lady bugs and you can't go outside the deck on the backside of the house without them flying in the house.

Are they having a convention here in Chattanooga this weekend?

They're up here in east TN too. This is something I haven't figured out, and haven't seen in the West or Midwest. Is it only in the south? At least they're cute.

Here in Northwest PA, we had those critters about the last 5 years. This year they have finally abated. Still have a few, but they aren't covering the house or getting in the house. After a while you won't think they are cute, they bite or pinch and stink. They must be moving westward. Hopefully they will have cycled out of TN by the time we retire.

The little buggers are all over Nashville, too. My house is old and leaky so they are inside all over my ceilings and no matter how many we vacuum up, more appear almost instantly! They do stink and one unfortunate bit me as I was bringing in groceries this evening. I sure hope it enjoyed that last taste...

I started the same subject in the Nashville section. I kept all my windows closed but some must have come in through th door. I found some on my bathroom ceiling yesterday. I just keep looking up at all the ceilings to find them.
