Have you tried a search on the Georgia site, as well as Tennessee to see if there are any message threads on the Ringgold area?
I did a search on the GA site and found a little info but not much. I posted a thread on the GA site and had NO responses at all. TN seems much more friendly in that respect.

Yah, after I posted, I also checked the Georgia side. I didn't dig into the posts, but it seems that many responded. You might try adding to one of the threads or direct messaging some of the authors as well.

Ringgold and Fort O. are suburbs of Chattanooga. I moved to Cleveland a few months ago, and work in Chatt. From what I can tell, financial considerations play a big part of why people live on TN or GA, taxes, salaries (like for teachers), etc. We moved to Cleveland because I like the area, but it's not that great for boating or fishing. We live southeast in cow country. Rural areas of Ringgold and Fot O. resemble Cleveland a lot. My kids went (and still go) to college there, and we grew to like the area when we visited from Knoxville. I've got some friends that live in and near Soddy-Daisy, and it's a GREAT place to retire to, esp. if you like fishing, boating, etc.

If you could be more specific about what you want to know, I'll ask around for answers.
