2000 Blazer 4L60e in a 1998 GMC 1500? (trucks, 4x4, rebuilt, V6)

Both trucks are 4.3 V6. Both are 4x4. My 1998 GMC 1500 has a bad tranny and my uncle has a wrecked 2000 Blazer with a rebuilt tranny in it. Does anyone know for certain if the blazer tranny will go in the GMC without a problem? I know the transfer cases are probably different so I'm not worried about that.

I don't know the answer to your question off the top of my head, but if you can get your hands on a Hollander manual, the answer should be in there. Most good junkyards have Hollanders.
