I remember when closing costs were $200, now if you can close for two grand you are lucky. Three percent of closing is a spit in a bucket compared to the 20% down payment.

Then a Homepath home is no different to any other home is it if any home being sold with the aid of taxpayers money is subsidized housing?

I'm guessing you meant to place a comma after "it"....that being said, yes, any use of taxpayer money to help finance, assist, etc. someone buying a home makes it subsidized housing. What, did you think they have to give you a home or pay your rent for it to be subsized?
