Man that guy in your office must be driving pretty fast to make it from Chicago to Ottawa in an hour. From Naperville to Ottawa its probably an 1 hour 15 min, maybe an hour if you go 80mph the whole way. I have personally driven from Naperville to Ottawa a couple times and its a boring drive. Its not bad in the summer but the winter can be brutal. I have only been to Ottawa a couple times and its nothing special but if your only there for work its not a big deal. I know there is a strip club there if your into that, not sure if its still there. Maybe check out the Minooka/Morris area or maybe even Yorkville area, probably can get to Ottawa in 40 minutes.
